The Inauguration of the Business 20 or the B20 India Inception meeting has been officially kicked off today in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on January 23, 2023.
As part of the inaugural meeting, Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, India’s Sherpa for the G20, Amitabh Kant, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, as well as a host of national and international business leaders have officially arrived the venue and has gathered together to attend the B20 India Inception Meeting, According to our on-field journalists present in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The initial meeting of the B20 group has been themed ‘RAISE,’ which stands for Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, Sustainable, and Equitable Business and this year’s B20 meeting is scheduled under the theme of ‘RAISE’. According to our correspondent, the meeting will examine the priorities of the industries that will drive policy recommendations for the following year.

As part of India’s G-20 presidency, Gujarat is hosting the first of 15 engagements that will take place as part of its hosting of the B20 Meeting. The meeting will be attended by more than 600 business leaders, which will also include more than 250 international delegates.
There will be a number of plenary sessions following the inaugural session where business leaders from the G20 Nations will discuss global issues such as climate action, financial inclusion, and global digital cooperation, among others following the inaugural session.
An exclusive plenary session will be dedicated to Gujarat Investment and Business Opportunities. This session will provide a glimpse into the investment and business opportunities available in Gujarat. As the United Nations have declared 2023 as the International Year of Millets, Gujarat’s Industries Commissioner Rahul Gupta said that while delegates are attending meetings in Gujarat, they will be served millet items during meals.
